Community run servers means there's no guarantee, if people are dumbass then they're dumbass

If people didn't have the worst taste ever by playing TDM Nuketown/Hijacked/Raid 24/7, trickshot and cheat zombies with infinite money etc maybe actual decent server owners would have a chance to be popular which would lead to most popular servers not being run by dumbasses like that

Since it won't change gotta accept the community being shit, especially on BO2 and either take the bans or play better servers or host your own

The solution to this error is downloading DirectX and installing it by running the setup to the end

Copy paste a public BO2 script and solve the errors it throws out I'd say in your situation

It's not hard but it depends on your will to learn and ease of understanding, some people struggle for years to open a folder and paste a file so can't tell you how it's gonna be for you, I can only tell you it is objectively, as far as scripting goes, not hard at all (depending on how you do it)

The server docs are not the best since it was written on free time + it assumes people running servers have a bit of knowledge, this is why it might be misleading but I've never heard of what you've said before, although you make sense!

I recommend using HFS if you're looking for a noob friendly option, it's simple to setup and handles MIME types automatically for you

HFS is a very easy to use web server you can use (for example)

MIME types are automatically handled by HFS, you don't have to do anything regarding that

Getting Playstation controllers to work on Plutonium is the same as getting one to work with any other PC game that doesn't have built-in Playstation controller support. This is not specific to Plutonium

It never says FastDL is made to speed up. It says FastDL is how you make the downloading happen
