You were the only one in the servers last night complaining about the modded movement being removed, whereas most players spoke up saying they were happy the warzone style movement was gone.

You are more than welcome to play the servers as you wish, but my servers normally run vanilla bo2 movement ️

Edit: there will be a suggestion section in the discord, if the modded movement is highly asked for, we will talk about it ️

Hi,

first and foremost, I really appreciate any help you can provide.

I originally opened the A M E R I C A S servers back in 2024 and spent months building them up. We had admins from NA, UK, and AUS helping keep the servers active around the clock, and we were able to grow a very solid player base.

At one point, we briefly took the servers offline for about a day to refresh files and update things like map voting. During that time, another server appeared using our name with a slight variation (adding an extra “/”). Since then, whenever we try to bring our servers back online, they get hit offline repeatedly. This has unfortunately been going on for a long time now.

I’ve reached out about this in the past but haven’t been able to get any resolution. I’ve also tried contacting the individuals responsible, but anytime I or my admins join their server to find a Discord or speak with someone, we’re immediately banned.

I completely understand that the admin team has a lot on their plate, and I don’t want to come across as a bother. That said, this has been an ongoing issue for quite some time, and I’d really appreciate any assistance or guidance you might be able to offer.

I’ve included links to my previous posts below, and you’re more than welcome to check my account history to verify that I own the original Americas keys. I’m happy to provide any additional information if needed.

Everything has been sorted and no need to worry about plutonium security issues. ️ thank you to the Pluto team for getting it sorted.

Update:

I have an update but it’s not a good one. From what I’ve been told there is an injectable exploit that’s undetectable by pluto and what it does is send a ping to the server and it sends back all the info back to you in an encrypted format. And me and the person I’m working with that knows the tool thinks someone found out how to decrypt the information. They informed me the tool has been around for awhile but with the info being sent back being encrypted it wasn’t a threat. They will be home later this weekend/early next week and is gonna go through the tool and it’s exe and see what can be done.

I’ll keep y’all updated on whatever we find out ️

Update: someone reached out to me on Twitter saying they know about the exploit and is supposed to send me info on it later on today. Once I get the info I’ll pass it to the Pluto admins. ️

I’ve had a few players reach out to me today about being doxxed in Bo2 plutonium game chat. I’m worried there may be a new exploit going around. The dox extends to IP, physical address, and plutonium log in information getting leaked in game chat by players also cheating.

All instances have happened in Americas servers. (The players came to me because I used to run the original Americas servers but they stole my server name months ago and I couldn’t get any help to correct the issue but that’s not important right now)

All I can think of it’s either an admin pulling IPs to access info on players or worse, there is a new exploit.

that should be enough to run 5 servers plus IW4M, if you are looking to only run 2-3 servers id recommend a place like plasmanodes. you could run 2-3 servers with IW4M with ddos protection for like $15/month. good customer service as well but you will be limited to miami host location

I own T6 Americas 1 & 2

is there anything that can be done about someone using someone else's server name to pop their own servers? i own the keys for "A M E R I C A S / T D M / BEST MAPS #1 & #2" and ive owned those keys for over a year now but now someone has made "A M E R I C A S // TDM // BEST MAPS 1 2 3 4 5 & 6", I have no clue who it is and when I asked in text chat I got banned from the server, its kinda lame tbh if there is an admin that can do anything about it im more then willing to show you my server keys to show ive ran this server name for a long time ️

Im getting DMs from people asking to be unbanned from these servers and I obviously have no control over them. All I want is for them to change their name and not use the one I built.

is there anyway to contact whoever is running the fake "A M E R I C A S" servers on bo2 pluto to have them change their server name?

i started Americas last year and when i took them down momentarily for maintenance someone immediately copied the name and just added extra slashes "A M E R I C A S // TDM // Best Maps 2"

the server has a terrible cfg with no mapvote and zero admin support and players are thinking its my servers, Dming me when i dont even know who runs it at all and is causing issues,
not to mention id love to put me servers back up online but id like to get this resolved first

not looking to start any arguments with another server owner but just make your own name instead of using one I spent months building up from scratch

ive tried to find out myself who runs them by reaching out to other known server owners but have had no luck as no one knows who it is

i added a pic of my server keys to show where they were created back in 2024

please help, everytime i try to launch my servers i get this error, any ideas? ive tried completely restarting the VPS, new server keys, etc. and everytime i try to update with the plutonium launcher its crashes and says "running in Lan mode" but i have a very good internet connection and have verified my port forward settings.
