This is something worth putting in the feature and bug bounties section as this is a feature on at least two other call of duty clients. The idea proposed by Resxt is very cool. I would probably do it that way as well in the meantime.

I just figured out that whatever "Record Level" is set to in voice options is what my windows mic recording level gets set to.
