@Eltzschi i am.. i mean we can't just ban people without proof. I don't play the game so i can't judge on if there are cheaters or not, all i know is that we barely get complains about people cheating. Even if we do, most of the reports that do contain video proof just show people being good at the game.

@She-was-hot it's possible that the server you joined restricts certain weapons including the aku.

Hey man, I had the same issue and it was because I had two monitors connected. I disconnected my secondary monitor from my graphics card and launched the game on the main display. Afterwards, I set my video settings to the resolution of my primary display and closed the game. Connected the second monitor and now it launches without going back to the desktop. Hope it helps!

@PatronTimur it doesn't really crash right? The window just disappears? Can you still access the console window (plutonium-bootstrapper-win32.exe) that opens alongside the game? If yes type vid_restart into it and hit enter.

@erica the problem is that the plutonium background image is in the "images" folder. As soon as the launcher detects that a file has changed it assumes your installation or part of it is outdated and downloads that file from our server. It's not prohibited, just a design flaw as those images should be in a separate .iwd strictly reserving the "images" folder for the loading of custom textures. For the time being you can pack your custom background image into an .iwd file that you put into %localappdata%/Plutonium/storage/iw5. .iwd's are just .zip files so create a .zip file, inside that create an images folder and put your texture in there, then change the file extension from .zip to .iwd (may have to disable "hide file extensions for known file types" in the explorer options).
