@DoktorCounter i mean, you posted the least important part of the error, your console window off the left would have been more helpful. that pop up doesn't really help. does it happen 10 minutes in? does it happen 20 minutes in? does it happen on all maps? does it happen during a round change? what fps do you play at? fullscreen? is it when you try to join a server? do you have the map the server is playing? did you update recently? did it used to work and now it doesn't? do you have verified files? is there ANYTHING you can tell us to help paint the picture on when this happens and what you've already tried to fix it? I mean when you make a crap post with little to no info on it, that helps NO ONE figure out what your issue could be... so don't be surprised when you get no answers. Next time try giving more / useful info and maybe folks can help

@Erock7771 For error 126, turn off your real-time antivirus and redownload the game. but idk if this matters anymore since there's 0 players online Also single player doesn't seem to work at least for me, I think the devs haven't added this feature yet.

its only done this once before when i first made an account and it fixed itself overnight. i havent been on in a minute and its done this 2 days ina row now. i typed everything for my credentials in the necessary case.. still not working.

yeah so basically what you have to do is, go to the folder where your problem is located, right click, go to properties and verify integrity files, this should fix the problem, hope this helps!

@elucidic plutonium freshly installed or the game? they are two different things. Plutonium is just the launcher, it does not contain the game files. It makes your existing game safer to play online and adds tons of cool features and improvements. But you still need a copy of the game for this to work. Assuming you used the default location when you installed the game, it would be Program Files(x86)/steam/steamapps/common/Call of Duty - Black Ops II

Don’t worry, this usually happens for a few common reasons try following this: Make sure you’re opening the right file → it should be plutonium.exe (the updater), not the old plutonium-launcher-win32.exe. Clean reinstall the launcher files: Close Plutonium completely. If you ever had the torrent version, remove it from your torrent client. Delete plutonium.exe and plutonium.new.exe if they exist. Delete the folder %localappdata%\Plutonium. Download a fresh plutonium.exe from the official site and run it again. Install the required runtimes (even if you think you already have them): .NET Framework 4.7.2 or newer Visual C++ Redistributables (both x86 and x64) DirectX (June 2010) Check antivirus/firewall: sometimes they block the updater. Add Plutonium as an exception in your AV and allow it through your firewall. Check your network settings: if the crash report mentions connection errors, try switching Wi-Fi, using a hotspot, or making sure your system time and date are correct. Update Windows and GPU drivers: Plutonium requires Windows 8.1/10/11 and a DirectX 11 compatible GPU. If it still crashes after that, you can open Event Viewer → Windows Logs → Application right after the crash and see which module is failing then share that info along with your Windows version and Crash ID, it helps a lot.
