You're probably selecting the wrong directory in game settings of the launcher. Also double check if you're selecting the bo2 folder in game settings of BO2 mp/zm tab, and not on the MW3 tab.

Probably because you have bo2 on your desktop? If yes, move it to C:/Games or something.

Check the downloads tab, it sometimes blocks pluto for being a "potentially unwanted software", you just have fo click 'Keep'. Don't worry, it's completely safe.

@Samn Well it tells you what you did wrong. Make sure you select a folder that contains bo2, if it still doesn't work run piry.exe in your bo2 folder.

@Infamous That and DirectX are installed. My servers are running on my old vps, but I can't update because the launcher won't open in Windows Server 2016.

There it is. So Windows 7 is unsupported. You must upgrade to Windows 10 or you can't play.

So you should either change your DNS to 1.1.1.1 for example or use a VPN to launch the game. You should also check your game settings and make sure you are up to date as well before doing the DNS or VPN stuff.

@softredina Download DirectX Extract the DirectX folder to any location, open it and run DXSETUP.exe (You can delete the folder afterwards)
