Could also be the folders permissions. You could try taking ownership of the folder. Launch Command Prompt as Administrator then write or copy/paste: takeown /f “"C:\Users\YOURNAME\AppData\Local\Plutonium"” /r /d y Just change YOURNAME to your username on Windows.

Add %localappdata%/Plutonium to your AV's exclusions https://forum.plutonium.pw/topic/8546/why-is-my-antivirus-saying-plutonium-is-a-virus-solution/ and try running the launcher again.

Upgrade to Win10.

Delete %localappdata%/Plutonium/config.json and info.json and see if you can play the game again. As for the game not launching and seeing you getting stuck on the login page, could be a problem with authentication. Something's blocking Pluto, make sure you don't have any 3rd party firewalls blocking it. Try changing DNS to 1.1.1.1 or use a VPN.

That's Win8.1 right? Install this https://dotnet.microsoft.com/download/dotnet-framework/thank-you/net472-web-installer then try launching Pluto again.

@DANRONEL which version of windows is that? win8 or 8.1? which antivirus software do you use? it looks like it quarantined the launcher since it has no icon.

@JeanBr8 you need to start the launcher via plutonium.exe (the file you downloaded off our site), launching it via plutonium-launcher-win32.exe will cause the error you're getting.

@AutisticLulu I didnt ask for advice on what quality to use, i wanted to know if its something that they are maybe gonna take a look at in the future or not. Because the game starting without sound under certain circumstances IS an issue.
