Took me like a good 2 minutes to figure out what OP meant. A screenshot would have been helpful :') I think OP wants to know why Discord Rich Presence won't work, make sure game detection is on and that discord rich presence is on in Discord. Other than that, it should just work. Obviously can't use the web version of Discord.

@HannesC No, the game won't even open up. It just shows a black screen then exit. However, I tried logging in with a VPN and it went well. But I could not play so I had to disconnect VPN and reopen the game again and it was ok. But I didn't try more to see if I get an error during the game or not.

Are you following this guide step by step? If you still can't join him, he either doesn't have UPnP enabled or he didn't port forward correctly - ask him to screenshot his port forwarding settings.

@brostosjoined i tried starting multiplayer and it worked, but when i tried to join a lobby the game crashed and said something about an ipak file does not contain a valid header. and it said that the ipak file that doesnt contain a valid header was the dlc2.ipak.
