Blsphmus you can either manually backup the dll file and put it back whenever you wanna play on Steam servers again or just repair your game in Steam and it'll automatically download all the required missing/broken files (so the dll).

You could create a .bat file to do that for you like you'd have a Plutonium IW5 shortcut and a Steam MW3 shortcut and it'll move the file inside/outside the folder depending on which one you launch.

EpicKuro just do what the guide says. Enable it and make sure it's enabled in the network tab in the Plutonium overlay and if you can't then port forward.

Squidbob Groups are used to put Contributors, VIPs, Administrators etc. in a specific category mainly to give them their forum access and colored name afaik. You can't create a group on your own and I don't think admins would create one for you specifically. They might create a generic group like Server Hoster but that's it imo.

@SCPSUP steam_api.dll being deleted is normal. Plutonium deletes this to avoid conflicts with Steam afaik. The crashes might be caused by your antivirus. Try to add both the Plutonium folder and your BO2 folder as exclusions. See this guide

If that doesn't fix your issue then you might have to uninstall your antivirus. FYI Windows Defender the antivirus that comes with Windows 10 is very good for the average user and is free so I recommend that you stick with that.

Futaro "the error message" doesn't mean anything. Send a screenshot of the error you get. You didn't gice clear informations

N1ghttyBruh if you need support for MW3 then you should post in MW3 support instead. To answer your question there is a button in game that does that. Then afaik you have to play a game for it to save.

EpicKuro this means you either did something wrong or something keeps blocking the connection like your firewall or your antivirus firewall

Transgender_ you can't use ReShade with Plutonium, it will just crash the game.

iJT as said above you're missing DirectX so you should install that, link above is the official one.
To make sure this doesn't happen again with other redists you can also run this https://github.com/ChxseH/Redist-Installer/releases/download/latest/Redist-Installer.bat which will install all the required redists all at once (DirectX included)

@notsimpl this is what is contained in the .txt files don't you have crashdump files too? Should be a lot of mb, around 1gb. I can't really help with these error codes but I'd say try to unplug any unnecessary device (VR headset, controller, other monitors etc.) only keep main monitor keyboard and mouse to see if that could be your issue. Also make sure there are no software with an overlay running as it'll conflict with Plutonium's overlay and crash the game.

Last question: what is your antivirus? Maybe try adding both Plutonium folder and BO2 folder as exclusions too, you can do so by reading this guide.

@notsimpl crashes without any error code? If there is one send a screenshot of the error as well. The crashdumps are located in %localappdata%\Plutonium, in a crashdumps folder I think

Blackburn89 are you using your Steam files, the torrent provided by Plutonium or another source?

• If you are using your Steam files then repair the game in Steam
• If you are using the files from the torrent then repair it
• If you are using files from another source then they're probably incomplete/broken and we can't help with that. Get clean files from the install guide

KaseyMoxie World at War is an old game and fullscreen mode has issues (+ Windows 10 fullscreen optimization miight not make it better) so yeah windowed borderless (r_fullscreen 0) is highly recommended. It will avoid crashes when using alt tab too.
