You still don’t have the useful Event Viewer log yet. The screenshot only shows SecurityCenter info, not the crash.

Please go to Event Viewer > Windows Logs > Application and post the red Error from the crash time, especially the faulting module name.

Also fully exit the NVIDIA app itself for a test, not just its overlay, because Plutonium has had overlay-related crash issues before.

If possible, upload the .dmp somewhere and send the link, because the .txt alone is still too generic to pin down.

The game just crashed once again at 21:22 with this text (plutonium-r5278-t6mp-2026-04-12_09-22-44.txt):

          Exception Code: 0xC0000005
          Exception Address: 0x23790E73
          g_mem.buf 0x2f780000
          last com error message ''
          last gsc error message ''
          last gsc pos 0x0 <FROZEN THREAD>

So i went to where you told me (Event Viewer > Windows Logs > Application), and this is what i see:

          87337906-f41f-4a95-8388-f4f00e6907da-image.jpeg

No error log there as you can see, but I checked other logs in System and i found this, i dont know if its important or not:

It looks like this might be related to a GPU driver issue, right?

I'll try updating/reinstalling my NVIDIA drivers and test the game again.
I'll report back whether it crashes again or if the issue is resolved.

For reference, I was previously using driver version 591.74 (installed on January 5th), and I'm now updating to 595.97. I really thought my drivers were already up to date...

          Thanks for your help!!

Yeap, it seems it fixed by updating the GPU drivers 🙂

                Thanks a lot

I've updated my GPU drivers and it's still not working. Any solutions? I've already tried all the solutions mentioned in this forum, including reinstalling the game, disabling my antivirus, etc.

this error is somehow interesting cause its like some mod that try to have access to memory of you're game or pc i have no clue that why you see mem_buff error, so check if you have any cheats installed from other game, or protection core related its a kernel error i think and not the GPU Problems

Most of the time error such as 0xC0000005 are RAM Issues, can be the ram that is unstable or some cheats or whatever you installed that try to have access to you're game, this is from the documentation of Microsoft https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/shows/inside/c0000005

unknowghost the error message he already showed the most of it which is necessary its just windows protecting the pc from a threat that try to modify the Memory by somehow no reason, or it can be graphics card but the chance is too low to be it cause you see 0xC000005 and also The mem_buff error so i suppose its only that, its a ram issue or he have a third party tool that disturb the game from the memory
