Marty59 Deleting your config files has worked for me. Just delete the players folder in your game folder.

X Labs (IW4x) does not "sell VIP" either, they have a Patreon you can donate to to get early access to games (similar to what we do), are you sure you are not thinking of a server-specific VIP? I know some trickshot servers sell "VIP" on their servers where you can get access to certain features.

Did you actually port forward? And, yes, you will have to make a rule on your firewall.

Hey! As I wrote both guides I'd figure I'd chime in. I might be repeating info others have said but so be it.

I got to the part in this guide where it starts to talk about modding and and how WAMP was something I needed to use to install a web server for windows.

You don't actually need to worry about this at all if everyone who is playing has the mod downloaded and installed already.

Do I need WAMP and FastDL for this or could I just ignore that and follow the guide on how to load MP & ZM custom maps and mods guide instead?

If players connecting do not have the mod, then FastDL is required.

And how could I use it for this use case of running a custom modded zombies server (Links to guides, or just giving me a bit of an explination would be much appreciated!)

WAMP is the web server where the game looks for to serve your mods to connecting players to. I cannot give any guides as I do not use WAMP for my web server.

Is there any more important details that I should probably know about for dedicated servers like I saw in a thread pinned How to configure IW4MAdmin for Pluto T4 would that be of any use or help to me at all and how would I go about setting it up correctly?

IW4MAdmin is useful for kicking/banning players, but currently does not support ZM so I guess wait till that comes out then take a look if you wish to set it up, it is not a requirement by any means.

Well that's easily solvable.

• You can try the redist installer which should automatically do it for you.
• Or, go into your games folder then into redist and install everything in there and DirectX/DXSETUP.

No, you do not put it in players. It should go in storage/t4/mods (you may have to make that folder)

Are you using the correct folder structure inside main_shared for your mod? For example main_shared/maps/mp/gametypes/_rank.gsc?

cheezkid26 Cool deal, for reference your friend should port forward 28960 and if you plan to run mods both of you need to have the mod installed before connecting.

Are you letting your Plutonium Launcher update? It should automatically re-download the unlockstats file into your players folder.

As far as I know, it shouldn't matter how you connect your device.

• Make sure to verify your network is set to private in windows
• Make sure UPNP is enabled on your router.

If those do not fix it, you can always fall back to port forwarding.

While I cannot recommend it, I can say RAdmin works on my network, although it may be finicky for others. Plutonium only recommends port forwarding/UPNP for connecting to friends.

Did all of you actually delete every file in there starting with mp or did you just replace the file? You need to delete everything with mp in it like the thread says.

It's not too hard

1. Hit Win+R and paste this in and hit OK %localappdata%\Plutonium\storage\t4
2. Create a mods folder if you do not have one.
3. Extract the mp_bots to this folder.
   
4. Open WAW MP, go to Mods then mp_bots.

You'll have to go through windows update a bunch of times since you are so behind. Just keep checking for updates and applying them all the way until it says you have no more.
