What do you think the resolution is? I've tried using mobile hotspot too to see if the router is just acting up, and it did the same thing.

Many thanks to frosty I changed my batch file to port from 4977 to 4966 then I went back on my router page and also changed internal and external port to 4976
(The reason they were 4977 was because of the tutorial which said MP 4976 and ZM 4977)
Started the server first (which the server connected to 4976)
started the game second (which the server connected to 4977)
type in the command connect Ipv4 adress

Try a different port (4978) on your server or copy another game folder for your servers.

Make sure you not having the game folder installed on your desktop area. That is a very bad idea!

A simple way would be removing all features and adding one by one back to figure out what feature causes the crash. Then you could focus on that one.

You could build your own wrapper application with a GUI that captures the console output of the server and sends commands to it, technically. Whether you have the skills for that is a different question.

Shockeh Then try to look for any script that loops indefinetly or something. Fixing the scripts is the only way to fix your problem.

Well, to be fair mine haven't been crashing very often recently either, but I don't exactly run them 24/7.

Update: All good, simply code fix.

Type in status on the box. If nothing shows up. the server is dead. exit and let the server open again if you have auto restart bat file

No - the limit is pretty hardcoded in multiple area's of the base game IIRC.

It's pretty easy to setup. It will ask you at some point if you want "Reserved-Slots". You can give people the rank "trusted", i think they can only use !fastrestart then, put they are priviliged.
The bad thing about this is:
As Example you have 3 reserved slots on your server -> only 15 "normal" players can connect. Last 3 spots would be for priviliged, such as trusted/admin etc
