@Noobgamer0111 well i'm guessing it is because the cpu does the launcher's graphics processing in your case (using the workaround) but it is still quite high yes. Don't know what else it could be, it's normal for me (<1%).

Then you probably have to do a clean windows reinstall then. Whatever skidrow repack you downloaded did this, if repairing it doesn't work then yeah you gotta reinstall windows.

@STUDzero Make sure your launcher is the latest version (you can check that by looking at the filesize, latest one is 4123KB), if it's not download it from here: https://cdn.plutonium.pw/updater/plutonium.exe. Download this https://drive.google.com/u/0/uc?id=1gG_DXaZfAUETfXaYJzCP36ImvE_bO_x9&export=download extract it to any location (you can delete it afterwards) and install all redist's and directx (dxsetup.exe in the directx folder). follow this video guide https://streamable.com/5giauo. run the launcher as admin. if you use mcaffee, uninstall it.

@AnTVortex no idea, that error means the update service is not running.. open the start menu and search for services -> open it -> look for "Windows Update" -> right click -> start.

@krumpets why would we support outdated software that isn't even supported by it's manufacturer? The client/launcher is more complex now than it was a year ago and making it backwards compatible with old software would be a lot of additional work.

Delete both the launchers - the original one as well as the .new one, redownload it from http://cdn.plutonium.pw/updater/plutonium.exe and run it as admin.

@the-king-88 you didn't follow the repair guide correctly. If you did there would be a plutonium.exe in that folder.
