As far as I know, it shouldn't matter how you connect your device. Make sure to verify your network is set to private in windows Make sure UPNP is enabled on your router. If those do not fix it, you can always fall back to port forwarding.

@RektInator Remember this bug you attempted to fix a while back? Its not exactly known what causes it but the last time you did a fix for it definitely reduced the likelyhood of it happening. I've still had it happen to me on my local test server but it seems to be much more rare than it used to be. Its the exact same issue where the server starts up normally but cannot communicate with the master server or accept client connections. There is no indication that your server is being affected by this bug when you launch it.

Most likely its that your server key is wrong.

Does your router even get a public IPv4 address?

I found how to play with my friends, i make a fix IP for my network setting on ipv4 and i go to my router settings for active DMZ on my fix IP. Now my server can see on server list.

@Metall900 the key is set inside the startup batch file. Simply right click !start_mp_server.bat and/or !start_zm_server.bat and hit edit.

Your dedicated server bat file does not reside in your game folder, either move it there, or replace line 11's %cd% with the directory of your game.
