I am currently talking in Discord and no one else can see it in the server list, nor can they connect when trying to connect manually. Someone in the bo2-support group in discord even tried pinging the IP and got nothing back. Sorry if im responding slow it only allows me to send a message every 10 minutes

@HiroButOk a trick on how to find out why a batch file doesn't work: hold down the left shift key on the keyboard and at the same time right click an empty space in the folder the batch file is in. Select "open powershell window here" or "open command prompt here" from the context menu that pops up. Type in the name of your batch file into the power shell window and hit the tab key on your keyboard to auto complete it. Hit enter. It will now show you what exactly is wrong, pls post a screenshot of that here. Also post a screenshot of your server folder.

Probably not. Port forwarding and / or hosting a server are pretty straight forward already. We may overhaul it eventually but for now the server creation and private match stats show that plenty of people are following the instructions without a problem.

@HighResolution you can find the configs for dedis here https://github.com/xerxes-at/T6ServerConfigs. by default it goes into /main not t6r/data (you have to create that folder if it doesn't exist).

@Dss0 Also that's just a firewall rule, this is your pc at home and not a vps right? Since you're also trying to play the game on the same machine. So in that case a firewall rule won't suffice, you have to forward the port in your router.

@Kajuiz Your key is in the wrong place. You are meant to place it in the set key= on line 3, not in the variable in line 21.

That's an unclean repack and probably fucks with system dlls, delete that whole folder and follow this guide to redownload the game files.

@ZODGAMINGYT post a screenshot of your server folder.

@zKasuro probably not as the server would still report your wan ip to the master server instead of the ngrok url.

@DBCooper The config and mapname conbinations are in "Maps and the matching configs" in dedicated_zm.cfg in main. In the server console do set sv_maprotation "exec config map mapname" press enter and then type map_rotate and again press enter.

@Xerxes Thank you, the server works now ! i placed all the config files in t6_pluto\main now the heartbeat is successful and i can see my server in the serverlist ! Edit: just tried it with a friend and it works, thanks i just have custom classes disabled for some reason
