@Profcreep To make it simple the way mod menus are written makes it so that it identifies the host as the person hosting. When you play a private game you're both the client and server so you are host and get the mod menu. When you host a dedicated server your client (you) is a random person and the server is the host so the dedicated is the one who has the mod menu (so in the end no one) To make it work for you either host a custom game or like mentioned above change the GSC script to give host status to you. This error was resolved by updating to a newer version of Wine, the issue seemed to be related to the Wine kernel or something in that space, I do not really know the cause of the issue, but that worked solving it. The new Wine version is Wine 7

@marcelo_hvb what do you mean the ip isn't the lan one? 192.168.0.229 is your pc's ip on your local network, it's not reachable via that ip from outside your network. You need to give your friend your wan ip: https://www.whatsmyip.org/ This shouldn't matter tho as if the port forwarding was set up correctly your server should be visible on the serverlist for people outside of your network (it's possible it's not visible for you).
