@Noobgamer0111 well i'm guessing it is because the cpu does the launcher's graphics processing in your case (using the workaround) but it is still quite high yes. Don't know what else it could be, it's normal for me (<1%).

Then you probably have to do a clean windows reinstall then. Whatever skidrow repack you downloaded did this, if repairing it doesn't work then yeah you gotta reinstall windows.

@AnTVortex no idea, that error means the update service is not running.. open the start menu and search for services -> open it -> look for "Windows Update" -> right click -> start.

@krumpets why would we support outdated software that isn't even supported by it's manufacturer? The client/launcher is more complex now than it was a year ago and making it backwards compatible with old software would be a lot of additional work.

Delete both the launchers - the original one as well as the .new one, redownload it from http://cdn.plutonium.pw/updater/plutonium.exe and run it as admin.

@the-king-88 you didn't follow the repair guide correctly. If you did there would be a plutonium.exe in that folder.

@Veneskym we don't support win7, he needs to upgrade to win10.

@The-King-8 no it's not, that was not made by us, i recommend not using it. Try changing your dns servers to 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1 (https://www.windowscentral.com/how-change-your-pcs-dns-settings-windows-10)

Install the redists and dxsetup.exe inside the directx folder, from the redist folder we provide with the basegame.
